The last few years have been a platformer boom. A few years ago, when SNS was at its peak, it was the platform companies that operated SNS that reached the peak of prosperity. We developed services related to SNS, and advertising revenue became a major source of profit.


As long as there are many users, you can automatically generate advertising revenue by posting it in a place where users can see it.


For me, the business of simply posting advertisements here is equivalent to that of a gold miner, and that's all right! ! I felt it was still too early to shout.


Going beyond the act of posting advertisements, establishing a business model for dealing with advertisements is the same position as the business of stores attached to gold mines.


Advertising revenue is equivalent to digging tools and food in the gold rush, but more revenue can be earned by selling luxury goods to miners, such as alcohol and cigarettes that are not necessary for survival. I thought that it might be.


If advertising revenue is gold, e-books are a luxury item. Rather than generating advertising revenue from my blog, I am aiming to generate income by selling extraneous products such as e-books.


In terms of conspiracy theories, it is also possible that Nabe is aiming to profit from the e-books.


If you know how much more difficult it is to sell an e-book than to put up an advertisement, I think you will be able to trust that I am not a profiteer.


In addition to the Gold Rush story, there are only 5cm episodes left. The man was drilling for oil.


His job was to dig holes every day in search of oil. I was confident that the land where I was digging the hole would produce oil, perhaps based on my intuition over many years.


However, no matter how much he dug, no oil came out, and he finally decided to let go of the land. He sold the land to a friend of his and started another career.


The friend decided to try digging further where he had been digging. When an acquaintance dug a hole just a few centimeters deep, black water droplets spouted out like a fountain. He found oil.


The man who was digging here first had the patience to dig a few more centimeters and found oil, but because he didn't have the patience, he missed out on the huge profit of an oil field. There are many lessons to be learned from this story.


Whether it's blogging or anything else, if you really put in a few centimeters of effort, you can make a tremendous difference in the results of your actions.


This story of the gold rush and oil is a story of buying and selling, but blogs and social media can become a huge buzz one day, and selling things rather than posting advertising revenue can become a tangible business. That's what I wanted to convey.


Platform business is closely related to advertising revenue, but if there are many viewers, there will be many people who will see the advertisement, and if you sell something, you will be selling it in a prime location, so there will be more people who will buy it. There are many.


In that sense, selling e-books through a blog is not an intangible advertisement, but rather buying and selling digital but tangible things such as e-books.


No, it's fine. I make money from advertising revenue! That is also a form of business. However, when you want a revenue source other than advertising, the business of selling things can be said to supplement advertising revenue.
